Dortha Brody

Dortha L. Brody, age 84, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at her residence on Sunday, November 14, 2010. She was born the daughter of Eberly and Anna (Shafer) Trumbo on July 17, 1926 in Chula, Missouri. She graduated from Chula High School in 1944. She worked at Wilcox Electrical until she retired. She is survived by foster niece Roberta Stephenson of Marceline, Missouri and friends Ron and Tonya Eckect of Chula, Missouri, and Rick and Becky Eckect of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Stanley Trumbo, sister Wilma Horn and an infant brother. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call after 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
