Dorothy Stacy, age 89, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Dorothy was born the daughter of Abraham L. and Ethel (Kerns) Rhodes on September 22, 1932, in Rocheport, Missouri. She was a graduate of Benton City High School in Benton City, Washington. She was united in marriage to Jene Stacy in Benton City, Washington, in 1951. He preceded her in death. Dorothy worked as a road musician. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Brad Stacy of Chillicothe, Missouri, Cary Stacy of Ocala, Florida, and Rex Stacy of South Carolina; one daughter, Pamela "Robbyn" Rose and husband, Vinny of Carrollton, Missouri; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one brother, Ted Rhodes of Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jene; three brothers, Jim, Rex, and Charles Rhodes; and one sister, Grace Boles.
Cremation will be held. No services are scheduled at this time. A private family inurnment will be held at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, Missouri.
