Dorothy A. Davis Dorothy A. Davis, age 60, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Dorothy was born the daughter of Dudley Von Burn and Bertha Antoinette (Buhrfiend) Sims on October 15, 1954, in Milan, Missouri. Dorothy moved from Texas to Missouri in 1994. She was united in marriage to David Davis on June 9, 1997, in Laredo, Missouri. He survives of the home. Survivors include her husband, David of the home; three daughters, Talana Girsch and husband David of Amity, Missouri, Cassandra Villeda of Olney, Texas; and Amanda Franklin of Sedalia, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren; one brother, Dudley Von Sims of Milan, Missouri; three sisters, Nancy Sims of Kansas, Oklahoma, Rose Marie Sims of California, and Mary Beth Russell of Trenton, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Danny Eugene Butler, Jr. and Shawn Allen Butler; and infant sister, Yvonne Marie Sims. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at Stucker Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Green Hills Women's Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
