Dorothy Mae Cosgrove Dorothy Mae Cosgrove, age 66, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at her residence. Dorothy was born the daughter of Russell and Mary (Lotz) Adams on May 20, 1946, in Lock Springs, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Cosgrove on September 17, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2008. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, sewing, hummingbirds, and watching the SyFy channel. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Ann Doss and husband Kris of Chillicothe, Missouri; four grandchildren, Steven Doss, Megan Paulus and husband Kyle, Heather Doss, and Brooke Doss; two great grandchildren, Klayton Doss and Lindsey Doss; two brothers, Michael Adams of Haulsey, Oregon, and Wallace Edward James Adams, Jr., of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Phyllis Sayers of Carrollton, Missouri, and Rita McNally of Buckner, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lloyd; and two sisters, Mary Jennings, and Deborah Louella Adams. Funeral service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 2, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, November 1, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, November 1, 2012, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Blue Mound Cemetery, Dawn, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society American Heart Association and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
