Dorothy I. (Harding) Booth Dorothy I. (Harding) Booth, age 86, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at her residence. Dorothy was born the daughter of Claude and Pearl (Moss) Gardner on December 15, 1929, in Trenton, Missouri. She worked as a sewing machine operator for Lambert Glove Factory in Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. She was united in marriage to Franklin Booth on November 12, 1973, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2012. She attended the Bethel Assembly of God Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She later attended the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, baking, quilting, camping, flowers, and gardening. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors include one son, Raymond Harding, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Sharon Buckner of Chillicothe, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; one brother, William Gardner and wife Teresa of Wheeling, Missouri; and two sisters, Linda Griffin and husband Richard of Trenton, Missouri, and Caroline Mendez and husband Danny of Tiger Lake, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Raymond Harding, Sr.; second husband, Franklin Booth; two daughters, Beverly Thomas and Mary Drew; and three sisters, Geraldine Moralf, Claudine Kline, and Viola Knouse. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
