Doris Schneider Doris Schneider, age 91, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Doris was born the daughter of Melvin and Myrtle (Anderson) Holm on October 20, 1922, in Livingston County, Missouri. She was a 1940 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Schneider on August 3, 1941, in Los Angeles, California. He survives of the home. Doris worked as a secretary for Chillicothe Municipal Utilities for over twenty years, until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the St. Columban's Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society, and numerous Bridge Clubs. Doris loved to play bridge. Survivors include, husband Lawrence Schneider of the home; one son John Schneider and wife Kerry of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Nicole Martin and husband David of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Debbie Englert and husband Mark of Chillicothe, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Ben Davis, Rebecca Davis Penolio, Amy-Beth Davis, Marcus Englert, Leigh Englert, Ashley Elisabeth Englert Zondor, Jonathan Schneider, and Jordan Schneider; and eleven great-grandchildren, Jacob Penolio, Zachary Penolio, Meghan Penolio, Alison Davis, Madison Davis, Joshua Davis, Max Neaderhiser, Payton Elisabeth Zondor, Piper Zondor, Paisley Zondor, Addison Elizabeth Schneider. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son Rudy; two brothers Melvin Franklin Holm and Harold Leroy Holm; and three sisters Louise Stewart, Betty Barker, and Dorothy Reed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 14, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. with a family visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 14, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
