Doris Ethel Reeter, age 93, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Doris was born the daughter of Henry and Lettie (Beaman) Caddell on February 24, 1925, in Livingston County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to James Everett Reeter on April 9, 1941, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1986. Doris was a member of the Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She enjoyed crocheting.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Reeter of Chillicothe, Missouri; two grandchildren, Don Reeter and wife Sarah of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Michelle Reeter of Chillicothe, Missouri; and two great grandchildren, Chloe Reeter and Raelyn Reeter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; two sons, Dean Lloyd and Gary Reeter; and two brothers, Chester and Ed Caddell.
A graveside service will be held at Brassfield Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at 3:30 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Brassfield Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
