Doris Louise Hoerr, age 94, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at her residence.
Doris was born the daughter of Fred and Elsie (Roth) Trost on October 29, 1926, in Illinois. She was united in marriage to Walter Henry Hoerr on May 15, 1948, in Valmeyer, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2005. Doris and Walter moved to their farm in Hale in 1976.  She was a homemaker, and a farmer's wife. Doris hauled hay, raised chickens, and worked as needed on the farm. She was a member of the Sunshine Club, Hale, Missouri.
Survivors include two sons, Russell Hoerr and wife Pat of Hale, Missouri, and John Hoerr and wife Jackie of Hale, Missouri; one daughter, Linda Sesata of Kansas City, Missouri; elven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; one grandson, Andy Hoerr; one son-in-law, Keith Sesata; and two brothers, Arthur and Alfred Trost.
Graveside services will be held at Hale Memory Gardens, Hale, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com .
