Doris Marie Bothwell

Doris Bothwell Doris Marie Bothwell, age 88, resident of Mooresville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Northcare Hospice House, North Kansas City, Missouri. Doris was born the daughter of Fina J. and Lennis F. (Royer) Kinne on September 10, 1923 in Hamilton, Missouri. She is a 1941 graduate of Penney High School in Hamilton, Missouri. On January 7, 1961 she married Wells M. Bothwell, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2003. Doris was a homemaker and assisted her husband in running the family farm. She loved quilting and was involved with many organizations including Southwest Livingston County R1 Booster, the Red Hatters of Mooresville, and Mooresville Study Club. She was also a former 4-H Sewing Leader and a member of the Livingston County 4-H and FFA Association. Doris is survived by her son Barrie Bothwell and wife Julie of Breckenridge, Missouri; three daughters, Delores Kuttler and husband John of Trenton, Missouri, Dixie Dawson and husband Jim of Manhattan Beach, California, Debra McComas and husband Jeff of Ojai, California; a brother Fina J. Kinne Jr. and wife Nathleen of Hamilton, Missouri; a sister Ada Lee Bowen-Clark of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and brother Don Kinne. A funeral service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. A family visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Friends may call on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made to Southwest Livingston County R1 School Booster Club or the Chillicothe FFA and may be mailed to or left at Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
