Doris Marie Arnold Doris Marie Arnold, age 78, a resident of Ludlow, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Doris was born the daughter of Roy and Lillie (Sellers) Borton on November 22, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a 1952 graduate of Plattsburg High School. She was united in marriage to David "Dean" Arnold on September 5, 1954, in Lathrop, Missouri. He survives of the home. She was a member of the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include her husband Dean of the home; one son, Gary Arnold and wife Joanne of McGregor, Texas; two daughters, Janet Smith and husband Tim of Kansas City, Missouri, and Becky Short and husband Jack of Springfield, Missouri; six grandchildren, Philip Smith of Brooklyn, New York, David Smith and wife Erin of Manhattan, New York, Brooke Hogue and husband Norman of Waco, Texas, Ryan Arnold and wife Kristyn of Des Moines, Iowa, Kara Knight and husband Brian of Denver, Colorado, and Kimbra Short of Springfield, Missouri; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Marilyn Masters and husband Bert of Stewartsville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Antioch Cemetery, Holt, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highview Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
