Donna Russell

Donna Russell Donna Russell, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014, at her residence. Donna was born the daughter of Willie "Bill" and Pearl (Cox) Redding on March 10, 1935, in Maysville, Missouri. She was a 1953 graduate of Maysville High School, Maysville, Missouri. She also attended Missouri Western Junior College for one year. She was united in marriage to Dayle Russell on June 25, 1954, in Maysville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1996. Donna worked as a Secretary for the Division of Youth Services and the Division of Family Services from 1970 until 1996. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where she was active in Christian Women's Fellowship. She enjoyed camping, quilting, boating, and following Chillicothe High School sports. Survivors include two sons, Doug Russell of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Steve Russell and wife Nancy of Lebanon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Blake Russell of Lebanon, Missouri, Amy George and husband Chris of Sumter, South Carolina, Ashley Parker and husband Mike of Jacksonville, Florida, and Keith Russell of Lebanon, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Sarah Parker, Brooke Parker, Caroline George, and Caitlin George. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Dayle. Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Amity Cemetery, Maysville, Missouri, on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Amity Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
