Donna M. Garst, age 67, a resident of Ludlow, Missouri, passed away at Livingston Manor Care Center, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, May 17, 2010. She was born on July 10, 1942, the daughter of Leslie Clayborn and Lena Viola (Bratcher) Caldwell in Westboro, Missouri. On January 24, 1959, she married Sherman Garst in Cowgill, Missouri. He survives of the home. Donna was the Monroe Township County Collector and she worked for Golden Age Nursing Home for over 20 years, Morning Side Center Nursing Home and Boss Glove Factory. She was a member of the Ludlow Baptist Chapel, Ludlow, Missouri. Donna enjoyed crossword puzzles, music and reading. She was a big MIZZOU Fan and loved spending time with her family. She is also survived by one son Randy Lee Garst, of Ludlow, Missouri; two daughters Pamela Sue Herndon and fiancé Jeffrey Kaiser of Chillicothe, Missouri, Charlotte Ann Remagen and husband Tim of Gladstone, Missouri; three brothers Bud Caldwell and wife Erma of Richmond, Missouri, Bob Caldwell and wife Bertha of Savannah, Missouri, Larry Dean Caldwell and wife Kristi of Junction City, Kansas one sister Carol June Guthals and husband Mike of Forest City, Missouri; one sister-in-law Edna Charlotte Morse of Gladstone, Missouri; five grandchildren Cory James Craft of Springfield, Missouri, Zackary William Craft of St. Joseph, Missouri, Tiffany Lynn Craft of Chillicothe, Missouri, Cole Remagen of Gladstone, Missouri, Leslie Garst of Ludlow, Missouri; three great grandchildren Khloie and Tucker Craft of Breckenridge, Missouri and Lance Sayers of Chillicothe, Missouri; several nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister. Services will be at the Ludlow Baptist Chapel, Ludlow, Missouri, on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, Burial will be in McCroskrie Cemetery, Ludlow, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the McCroskrie Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
