Donald Raymond Schneiter Donald Schneiter, age 81, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Donald was born the son of Fred and Roxie Leona (Dillard) Schneiter on September 4, 1932, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Edna Howe on January 5, 1951, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death on July 24, 1998. Donald then married Sharon Simpson on September 4, 2004, in Mooresville, Missouri. She survives of the home. Donald worked for Mid America Dairy driving a milk route for 26 years. He then worked as the Street Commissioner of Chillicothe for 15 years. Donald owned and operated Schneiter Lawn and Snow Removal. Survivors include his wife, Sharon of the home; one son, Bill Schneiter of Dawn, Missouri; one step-son; six step-daughters; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Velma Strange of Chillicothe, Missouri, Bernice Noble of Boonville, Missouri, and Helen Lawrence of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Edna; one son, Donald Schneiter, Jr.; two daughters, Donna Schneiter and Rebecca Jane Wallis; and three brothers, Melvin, Carl, and Bobby Schneiter. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Hutchison Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
