Donald Eugene Pittier, Jr. age 49, a resident of Independence, Missouri, passed away March 14, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born the son of Donald and Cecilia (DeCuer) Pittier on August 28, 1970, in Kansas City, Missouri. Don was a 1988 graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School. He was united in marriage to Stacey Andrews on June 14, 2008. She survives of the home. He worked for Jay Wolfe Acura, Crescent Electric, and most recently Ford Motor Company. He was initiated into the Shawnee Lodge No. 54 of the Masons on January 6, 2000. He was a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite, and the Ararat Shrine where he was the Director of the Oriental Band, President of the Liberty Shrine Club, and Assistant Director of Uniform Units.
He is survived by the love of his life, Stacey Andrews Pittier, of the home; his parents, Donald E. Pittier and wife, Vicki of Lee's Summit, MO, and Cecilia Roberts and husband, Richard of Kearney, Missouri; two sisters, Shelly Murphy and husband, Phil of Shawnee, Kansas, and Heather Pittier and fiancée Chad Spencer of Kearney, Missouri; two step brothers, Kevin Roberts and wife Kris of Kidder, Missouri, and Will Kinser of Lee's Summit, Missouri; two step sisters, Gina Miller and husband Wendell of Kidder, Missouri, and Amber Kinser of Blue Springs, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Tressie Pittier of Shawnee, Kansas; nieces and nephew, Hailey Saunders and husband, Kevin of Shawnee, Kansas, Nicholas Sheppard of Kansas City, Kansas, and Kaci Pittier of Kearney, Missouri; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jeanne Berti; paternal grandfather, Eugene Pittier; and maternal grandparents, Emil and Marie DeCuer.
Memorial Services will be held at a date to be determined, at the Ararat Shrine Temple, Kansas City, Missouri. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
