Donald “Donnie” Henry Mustain, age 81, of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at St. Luke’s North Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.

Donald was born the son of Roscoe Mustain and Fern (Waterman) Leighty on June 11, 1943, in Buckner, Missouri. He served in the United States Army from 1961 until 1964. He was united in marriage to Peggy Fitzwater, on August 30, 1961, she survives of the home.

Donald attended the Church of Christ in Braymer. He worked at Donaldson’s and was a self-employed farmer. He enjoyed farming and his ultra-light airplane. He loved spending time with his family.

Donald is survived by his wife, Peggy; one son, Todd Mustain and wife Gloria of Braymer, Missouri; one daughter, Tiffany Palmer and husband Terry, of Braymer, Missouri; three grandchildren, Lauren Smith, Mason Palmer (Kaley) and Timberlynn Palmer; two great grandchildren, Tierney Smith and Cooper Palmer, and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews. Donald is preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Mustain; his mother and stepfather, Fern and Marvin Leighty; and one brother, Thomas Roscoe Mustain.

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends and family may call at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on October Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
