Donald Lynn "Butch" Johnson Donald "Butch" Johnson, age 62, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri with his family by his side on January 20, 2011. Butch was born the son of Edwin and Donna (Rowland) Johnson in Chillicothe, Missouri on October 19, 1948. He served in the United States Army until 1968 and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He lived his life in the Ludlow and Chillicothe area in Missouri working as a farmer, truck driver, Sheriff Dispatcher and CMU water plant operator. He was a member of the Souls Harbor Church of God, Chillicothe, Missouri, the Campers Club, The Vern R. Glick, American Legion, post 25, and the Livingston County Steam Engine Association. He is survived by three daughters, Jo Ann Parrack and husband Jerry of Chillicothe, Missouri, Elizabeth Sykes and husband Kevin of Kansas City, Missouri, and Donna Johnson of Chillicothe, Missouri; five grandchildren, Kegan McCracken of Chillicothe, Missouri, Brett Leakey of Chillicothe, Missouri, Hailey Sharp of Chillicothe Missouri, Lucia Sykes of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mylea Leakey of Chillicothe, Missouri; two step-grandchildren, Megan Parrack and Titus Parrack of Springfield, Missouri; two step-great-grandchildren, Faith Parrack and Daymen Parrack of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Susie De Graeve and husband Bob of Kansas City, Missouri; Father-in-law Jack H. Rist of Chillicothe, Missouri and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law Gwen Rist and nephew Richard Anderson. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri, Monday, January 24, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. A family visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the Funeral Home.
