Donald Charles Head

Donald Charles Head, age 87 a resident of Bryan St, Chillicothe passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Donald was born son of Ernest Charles and Clora Mae (Stephenson) Head on October 16, 1923 in Browning, Missouri. He graduated from Linneus High School. He was a World War II Army Veteran, and worked as a Lineman for Southwestern Bell for thirty seven years. He married Ival Lucille Robinson on April 17, 1948 in Brookfield, Missouri. She survives him of the home. For 30 years he was Peppy Promenaders, he loved fishing and spending time with his grandson Connor. Donald is survived by his son Mark Head and wife LuAnn of Chillicothe, Missouri; daughter DeNeece Saunders and husband Gene of Stewartsville, Missouri; grandson Connor Elliott of Columbia. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nadine Campbell. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. A family visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
