Donald Lester Ellis Donald Lester Ellis, age 83, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Livingston Manor, Chillicothe, Missouri. Donald was born the son of Benjamin and Hannah Ellis on March 9, 1934, in Trenton, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Marge Wimmer on September 20, 1958, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked for UNC Security in North Carolina and also at Trenton Foods for many years. He also managed Imperial Service Station. Donald was a member of the Church of Christ, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a member of the Chillicothe Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2428. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include three sons, Gary Ellis and wife Missy of Lynn Haven, Florida, Donnie Wayne Ellis, and Ricky Lee Ellis; one daughter, Patricia Van Dyne and husband Roger of Davenport, Iowa; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eddie and Benny Ellis; and one grandson, Jason Ellis. Cremation was held. There are no scheduled services at this time.
