Donald Eugene Darrah Donald Eugene Darrah, age 86, a resident of Cameron, Missouri, former resident of Cowgill, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, Missouri. Donald was born the son of Walter and Mae (Hess) Darrah on August 18, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa. He served in the United States Army from 1950 until 1952 as a Combat Engineer. Donald was united in marriage to Juanita Fowler on November 8, 1958 in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home. Donald worked for at IBEW Local 53 doing electrical construction for 35 years. He was a member of the Cowgill Baptist Church, Cowgill, Missouri. Survivors include wife, Juanita Darrah; two sons, Marty Darrah and wife Jeanna of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Michael Darrah and wife Romme, of Mooresville, Missouri; one stepson Donald Payne of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two step daughters Shirley Capachioni of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Carolyn Thomson of Gladstone, Missouri; three grandchildren, Daniel, David, and Katie Darrah; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held at the Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill, Missouri, on Monday, April 1, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
