Don St. John, age 73, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away at Hillcrest Manor in Hamilton, Missouri on May 21, 2010. He was born on September 2, 1936 in Merwin, Missouri to the parents of Edward and Rowena (Russell) St. John. On June 29, 1962, he married Saundra Smith. She survives of the home. Don served in the Air Force from 1956 until 1960. He worked as a purchaser for Builders Steel in North Kansas City, Missouri retiring in 1998. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri and belonged to the Masonic Friendship Lodge #89. He is survived by his wife of nearly forty-eight years; two daughters, Tara Bethards and husband Steve of Chillicothe, Missouri and Jona Forte and husband Buck of Brookfield, Missouri; daughter-in-law Rae (St. John) Campbell of Forsyth, Missouri; sister-in-law, Mary St. John of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Patrick Allen; twin infant daughters, Patricia Sue and Michelle Renee; brother, Jack; and sister, Idjo Hader. Services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Edgewood Cemetery. There will be no family visitation. Friends and family may call Lindley Funeral Home on Friday, May 28 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Don St. John Memorial Fund and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
