Dolly Jean McCracken Dolly Jean McCracken, age 87, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at The Baptist Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Dolly was born the daughter of Leo "Pete" and Corrine (Minnis) Wooden on April 22, 1927, in Coloma, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Ervin "Dub" Willis McCracken on August 31, 1942, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2011. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, since 1955. She was also a member of R.S.V.P. Survivors include one daughter Margaret Sue "Susie" Calaway of Chillicothe, Missouri; four grandchildren Gil Dean Gates and wife Karen of Chillicothe, Missouri, Ginger Gates Jones and husband Pat of Chillicothe, Missouri, Lynette Smith Barton and husband Richard of Chillicothe, Missouri, Shane Smith and wife Shan of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; nine great-grandchildren Gabrielle Gates Thompson and husband Dustin, Geana Gates Dudley and husband Drew of Chillicothe, Missouri, Gillen Gates of Chillicothe, Missouri, Kylee Ireland of Chillicothe, Missouri, Hallee Jones and Hannah Jones of Chillicothe, Missouri; Scotty Smith, Sophie Smith and Spencer Smith of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and three great-great grandchildren, Ellynor Thompson and Maddox and Maverick Dudley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dub; one daughter, Ruth Ann Gates; two brothers, Leland Francis and Bobby Leo Wooden; and one sister, Dorothy Wooden. Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 26, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 26, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Blue Mound Cemetery, Blue Mound, Missouri.
