Dena Katherine Hibdon

Dena Katherine Hibdon Dena Katherine Hibdon, age 68, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her home, surrounded by family and loved ones. Dena was born the daughter of Everett and Gladys Mansell on December 31, 1943 in Dunklin Co., Missouri. In 1961 she was united in marriage to Larry Hibdon in St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1972. She retired from Donaldson's Company in 1991, but she maintained numerous hobbies. She was very artistic and enjoyed woodworking, painting, and antiquing, along with spending time fishing and boating at Thomas Hill Lake. Her most recent passion was Lucy, her pet Yorkie. Survivors from the family are Wanda Robbins, of Chillicothe, Missouri; her children, Billy and Gary, of St. Louis, Missouri, Tracy K Hibdon, of Chillicothe, Missouri, Terry and Melissa Hibdon, of Rockford, Michigan; sisters, Peggy Dabney, of St. John, Missouri, Karen Anderson, of St. Charles, Missouri, Sharon and Dennis Schierding, of St. Charles, Missouri, Desi and Dennis Batchelar, of Lathrop, Missouri, Kay and Rick Grell, of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Debra Younger, of Chillicothe, Missouri; her grandchildren, Christina Glenn, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Richard Glenn, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Sterling Hibdon, of Rockford, Michigan; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her brother, Mark Mansel. There will be a private family graveside service on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Edgewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chillicothe Humane Society and/or St. Luke's Hospice, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
