DeLloyd Neal McKnight, age 73, a resident of Polo, Missouri, formerly of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at NorthCare Hospice House, North Kansas City, Missouri. DeLloyd was born the son of Neal and Ruth Marie (Culling) McKnight on August 15, 1942, in Braymer, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Linda Eloise Marlott on March 20, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives of the home. DeLloyd worked as a Painter for Kenworth for over 20 years and then for ABC until his retirement. He was a member of the Braymer Christian Church, Braymer, Missouri. He loved the outdoors, motorcycles, old cars, and most of all his family. He was very proud of his Cherokee Native American culture. Survivors include wife, Linda of the home; one daughter, Tawna Philippeit and husband Jeff of Kearney, Missouri; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Donna Smith. Funeral services will be held at the Braymer Christian Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Braymer Christian Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, December 5, 2015, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
