Debra Jane Johnson Debra Jane Johnson, age 61, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri, surrounded by her family. Debra was born the daughter of Jack H. and Mildred "Jean" (McNally) Rist on February 16, 1953, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1972 Chillicothe High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Butch Johnson on November 3, 1972, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2011. Debra was a member of Souls Harbor Church of God, Chillicothe, Missouri. She was also a member of the Chillicothe Campers Club and Livingston County Steam and Gas Engine Association. She enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing, playing bingo, flowers and gardening, and was involved in Women's Ministry. Debra loved spending time with her grandchildren. Debra was a breast cancer survivor and was very active in Relay For Life. Survivors include father, Jack H. Rist of Chillicothe, Missouri; three daughters, Jo Ann Parrack and husband Jerry of Chillicothe, Missouri, Elizabeth Sykes and husband Kevin of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Donna Goff and husband Jason of Chillicothe, Missouri; five grandchildren, Kegan McCracken, Brett Leakey, Mylea Leakey, Hailey Sharp, Lucia Sykes; four step-grandchildren Megan Parrack, Titus Parrack, Savanna Goff, Riley Goff; two step great-grandchildren, Faith and Damyen Parrack; one brother Bill Rist and wife Lori of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sisters, Cookie Huckaby and husband Gary of Utica, Missouri, and Rose Burke and husband Bruce of Utica; one aunt, Betty McNally of Chillicothe, Missouri; best friend Ann Oertwig; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred "Jean" Rist; step mother Gwen Rist; and husband Butch Johnson. Funeral services will be held at the Souls Harbor Church of God, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, February 20, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
