Debra (Debbie) Lynn Peniston Debbie Peniston, age 57, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her residence. Debbie was born the daughter of Robert F. Grouse and Immogene Faye Baldwin on July 21, 1954 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1972 Chillicothe High School Graduate. She spent all of her life in Sampsel Township, Livingston County, and Chillicothe. On April 17, 1971 she was united in marriage to Charles Peniston at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. She was the co-owner and operator of Good Time Charlie's, Peniston Farms and Auction, Papa Charlie's Pumpkin Patch, and Peniston Produce. She loved the outdoors, cattle, animals, and her grandkids. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chillicothe, Missouri. Debbie was an honest, natural woman who possessed a strong sense of right and wrong. Her large family depended on her for sensible advice and loving leadership. Known for being and industrious and incredibly hard worker, Debbie had more energy and strength than most men. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Peniston of the home; three sons, Bob and wife Ashley, Tony, and Billy Peniston all of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Genelle Barnett of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother, David and wife Diana Grouse of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister, Jeanie and husband Fred Hinnen of Chillicothe, Missouri; mother, Immogene Grouse of Chillicothe, Missouri; father, Robert Grouse of Chillicothe, Missouri; mother-in-law, Phyllis Peniston of Chillicothe, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Tanner Young Thompson, Bobby Ross Peniston, Anthony Jason Peniston, Jessica Hope Wright, Christian Max Peniston, Emma Verelle Thomas, Trent Logan Peniston, Trevor Layne Peniston, Charley Christine Peniston, and Taylor Lynn Peniston all of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by mother and father-in-law Ross and Verelle Peniston. Services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund and/or the Chillicothe FFA Swine Department and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
