Dean Allan Cooper Dean Allan Cooper, age 65, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Dean was born the son of Ross and Pearl (Hughes) Cooper on April 1, 1951, in rural Chillicothe, Missouri. He lived all of his life in Chillicothe, and graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1969. He worked over 33 years for Chillicothe Lumber Company. Dean loved to hunt, fish, play pool, visit with his friends, and listen to music. He enjoyed the company of his three special cats, Miss Kitty, Daisy Mae, and Spooky. Dean was an active member of the Chillicothe Boat Club for many years. Survivors include one son, Wyatt Cooper of Chillicothe, Missouri; one grandson, Gavin Cooper of Wheeling, Missouri; and three nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Pamela Thomas; one brother, Ross (Junior) Cooper; two sisters, Shirley Fifer and Thelma Drummond; two brothers-in-law, Scottie Hobson, and Glen Drummond; one nephew, Donald James Fifer; and one niece, Bonnie Hobson Beal. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, August 4, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, August 4, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at May Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
