David Arthur Hopper David Arthur Hopper, age 61, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at his residence. David was born the son of Arthur Stanley and Billie Marie (Kaiser) Hopper on March 21, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a 1973 graduate of Hale High School, Hale, Missouri. He then attended Gladstone Community College. David dedicated his career to public service. He worked for the city of Moberly, Missouri, for 25 years. David was a deputy with the Randolph County Sheriff's Department and worked as Administrator of the Randolph County Ambulance District. He enjoyed passing on his knowledge of paramedic skills and diving to those he taught. He then worked for EMS for Monroe County, Missouri, Chariton County, Missouri, Mexico, Missouri, and Gladstone, Missouri. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Macon, Missouri. David possessed a strong sense of patriotism and was a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan. Survivors include two daughters, Kristen Marie Murphy and husband Jason of Palmyra, Missouri, and Erin Kathleen Brown of Auxvasse, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jaden and Elijah Murphy both of Palmyra, Missouri and Alyia Fulkerson of Auxvasse, Missouri; two sisters, Jackie Lea (Hopper) (Livingston) Adamo and husband William of Kearney, Missouri, and Kerri Lynn Jenkins and husband Bill Pfaff of Jefferson City, Missouri; as well as nieces Chandee Harper, Dalyn Jenkins and Lyndal Jenkins; and a nephew Trey Livingston. David was preceded in death by both of his parents. Graveside services will be held at the Lawson Cemetery, Lawson, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
