Darvel Huard Jones, age 76, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Darvel was born the son of Edgar Jones and Joyce E. (Powell) Cox on April 7, 1945, in Houston, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Storseth on June 17, 1963, in Great Falls, Montana. She survives of the home. Darvel worked at Modine Manufacturing in Trenton, Missouri, for over 35 years. He was a Ham Radio Operator. Darvel enjoyed reading, target shooting, and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Jones of the home; one son, Darvel Jones II, and wife Tera of Cameron, Missouri; two daughters, Janice Coldiron and husband Steven of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Joletta Sensenich of Spring Hill, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Athena Talbott and husband Duston, Sean Sensenich and wife Megan, Kayla Suber and husband T.J., Brianna Sensenich, Teah Sensenich, Alayna Sensenich, Melanie Slovak and husband Robby, and Linn Olen Hoskins III; six great grandchildren, Elijah Sensenich, Brynlee Lewis, David Talbott, Ashton Talbott, Jacey Hall, Tray Suber; one sister, Beverly Mendenhall of Houston, Texas; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Gregory Cox; and his father, Edgar Jones.
