Darlene Buntin Darlene Buntin, age 97, a resident of Dallas, Oregon, former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Ludlow, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012, at Jefferson Manor, Dallas, Oregon. Darlene was born the daughter of Morgan and Inez (Coldiron) Hughes, on April 8, 1915, in Ludlow, Missouri. On February 13, 1934, she was united in marriage to Earnest Minnis Buntin, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1992. She was a member of the Church of God, Chillicothe, Missouri, and attended the Assembly of God Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, and was very active in both of the churches. She is survived by two sons, Carlos Buntin, of Vista, California, and Charles Buntin, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Sherry Haught, of Dallas, Oregon; one sister, Lahoma Crouse, of Chillicothe, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, and eighteen great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earnest Minnis Buntin; two brothers, Leland Hughes and Grover Hughes; one sister, Euva Buntin; and one daughter, Janice Myers. Memorial services for Darlene Buntin and Janice (Buntin) Hughes will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 22, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Sunday, October 21, 2012, 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow, Missouri.
