Danny Burns Scott, age 61, a resident of Chillicothe Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his residence. Danny was born the son of James Edward and Clara Eileen (Long) Scott on November 8, 1953 in Chillicothe, Missouri. Danny was a 1972 graduate of Chillicothe High School Chillicothe, Missouri. On May 27, 1972 in Marceline Missouri Danny was united in marriage to Ann Hamilton. She survives of the home. Danny was a member of the Missouri National Guard for 9 years. He worked as a district sales manager for Praxair for 39 years. Danny was an avid golfer, fishermen and a diehard Chiefs and Royals fan. He was a proud Papa of two grandsons and two grand puppies and loved spending time with them at the lake. Survivors include wife Ann of the home; two sons Jeff Scott of West Des Moines, Iowa, Stephen Scott and wife Shelly of Huntsville, Missouri; one daughter Stephanie Hiatt and husband Rusty of Osage Beach, Missouri; two grandchildren Jackson Hiatt of Osage Beach Missouri and Jacob Scott of Huntsville, Missouri. He is also survived by four brothers Phil Scott and wife Pat of Chillicothe, Missouri, Davey Scott and wife Paula of Chillicothe, Missouri, Alan Scott and wife Mary Ann of Chillicothe, Missouri and Ike Scott of Chillicothe, Missouri; three sisters Carol Scott of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, Sherry Scott of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Raye Spaw of Lee's Summit, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Doug Scott, one sister Kay Lewis, one niece Katie Scott, and one nephew Jimmy Spaw. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be no scheduled family visitation. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Chillicothe Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army and maybe left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home P.O.
