Daniel Ray "Hollywood" Englert, age 54, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Livingston Manor, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Daniel was born the son of Edward Eugene and Barbara Kay (Van Dusen) Englert on April 28, 1967, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1985 graduate of Chillicothe High School. Daniel was united in marriage to Nancy Adkins on August 4, 2019, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked as a lead supervisor at Americold Logistics in Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. Daniel loved sports, duck hunting, camping, and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Englert of the home; one son, Jake Englert and wife Molly of Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Madison Strouse and husband Jonathan of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Jennifer Proctor and husband Clark of Hayden, Alabama; one step daughter, Hannah Hicks of Chillicothe, Missouri; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Englert of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Mike Englert and wife Colleen of Little Rock, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by parents; and nephew, Aaron Englert.
Graveside services will be held at St. Columban Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation.
