Dana Clair Moss

Dana Clair Moss Dana Clair Moss, age 88, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at her residence surrounded by family. Dana was born the daughter of Clarence and Martha (Todd) Johnson on October 22, 1925, in Osgood, Missouri. She was a 1943 graduate of Chillicothe High School. After graduation, she attended Chillicothe Business College from 1943-1944. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Donald Irvin Moss, on February 3, 1946, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1999. Dana worked as an employee for Chillicothe State Bank for 36 years, as Assistant Cashier Officer, Customer Service Department retiring in 1991. Dana took great pride in being the only employee who had the distinct honor and privilege of working for and with all of the Chillicothe State Bank's ten (10) Presidents before her retirement. Survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Moss Colter of Chillicothe, Missouri, Nancy J. Johnston of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Dawn K. Dupy of Chillicothe, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Scott Barnard, Dustin Rennells, Ryan Colter, Natalie Engles, Brady Ream, Marshelle Johnston, and Matt Dupy; and seven great grandchildren, Brett Barnard, Riley Barnard, Logan Barnard, Macy Engles, Kaley Engles, Leah O'Rear, and Quincy Ream. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald; three sisters, Imogene McClure, Colleen Crowley, and M. Ruth Richey; and one brother George Johnson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 29, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
