Dana Lynn (Kirkland) Weatherford Dana Lynn (Kirkland) Weatherford, age 51, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Mosaic Life Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri. Dana was born the daughter of Wendell Royce and Ilene (Merriott) Kirkland on November 18, 1963, in Savannah, Georgia, at Hunter Army Airfield. She was a 1981 graduate of Chillicothe High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Pheonix for 3 ½ years. Dana worked as a bookkeeper for Johnston Rental Center for 15 years. She also worked for as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block in Chillicothe and Trenton for 26 years. She was a member of the Liberty Chapel Christian Church, Farmersville, Missouri. Survivors include her mother, Ilene Kirkland of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother, Dale Kirkland and wife Michelle of Chillicothe, Missouri; two nephews, Bradley Ogle and Joshua Kirkland of Chillicothe, Missouri; two stepchildren, Shaun O'Dell and wife Colleen of Moberly, Missouri, and Kenneth O'Dell, Jr. of Flint, Michigan; four step grandchildren, Morgan and Garrett O'Dell of Flint, Michigan and Alexis and Lillian O'Dell of Moberly, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
