Cora Maxine Drake Cora Maxine Drake, age 91, a resident of Chula, Missouri, passed away at her daughter's residence, Chula, Missouri, on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Maxine was born the daughter of Fred and Anna Leona (White) Hinnen, on July 15, 1924, in Chula, Missouri. On August 24, 1941, she married Harold C. Drake, in Weatherby, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1995. Maxine lived all her life in Chula and Eversonville, Missouri area. She was a long time member of Eversonville Baptist Church until its closing and a present member of the Highview Baptist Church, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, working hard and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Thelma McKiddy and husband Richard, of Chula, Missouri, Sherry Rueb and husband Kirk, of Hull, Illinois; six grandchildren, Robert McKiddy, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Cheryl Shiflett and husband Todd of Linneus, Missouri, Bill Drake and wife Kim of Quincy, Illinois, Steven McKiddy of Chula, Missouri, Clifton Rueb and Deb of Hull, Illinois, Christina Swango and husband Jason, of Clarksville, Tennessee; one brother Lawrence Hinnen and wife Dorothy; one sister Dorothy Stith and husband Delbert all of Chula, Missouri; eleven great grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son Lloyd Drake, a daughter-in-law Sharon Drake and one brother Marvin Hinnen and wife Velma, two sisters, Helen Reid and husband Bill, Doris Long and husband Harry, one brother and sister -in -law Donald and Earlene Drake; a nephew Cliff Drake and nephew John Hinnen and niece Carol Hinnen Warren. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 7, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, August 7, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Linneus, Missouri.
