Coleen King Coleen King, age 86, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at her residence in Chillicothe, Missouri with her daughters and caregiver at her side. Coleen was the daughter of Mart and Alberta (Dooley) (Seikmann) Smith on April 21, 1931, in Oregon, Missouri. She was united in marriage to William "Bill" King Jr. on February 26, 1950, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2016. Coleen was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, gardening, and ceramics. Coleen and Bill loved traveling in their motor home across the country. Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Smith and husband Duane of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Sandra Jo Bennett and husband Bryan of Chillicothe, Missouri: four grandchildren, Cliff Smith and wife Jenea of Columbia, Missouri, Leda Schreiner and husband Anthony of Chillicothe, Missouri, Wade Smith and wife Molly of Kansas City, Missouri, and Crystal Tipton and husband Chad of Miami, Florida; thirteen great grandchildren, Cora, Cate, Caleb, and Charlie Smith; Emily, Andrew, and Jack Schreiner; Murphy and Thorsten Smith; and Baylee, Braden, Bella, and Bishop Tipton; and one brother, Robert Lee Smith and wife Margo of Odessa, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Bill. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday April 29, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and/or the Shriners Children's Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
