Cody Joe Nichols Cody Joe Nichols, age 49, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, at St. Luke's Northland, Kansas City, Missouri. Cody was born the son of Darryl Gene and Cathryn Lucille (Evans) Nichols on April 21, 1962, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a self-employed auto body repair man in Breckenridge, Missouri. He loved spending time with his son Jordan, and working on automobiles. Survivors include his lifelong companion, Sharon Youngs of Cameron, Missouri; one son, Jordan Nichols of Cameron, Missouri; one step son, Josh Moore of Cameron, Missouri; two sisters, Cindy Nichols of Breckenridge, Missouri, and Candy Vanderpool of Breckenridge, Missouri; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Billie Lea Nichols, and Cathy McIntire. Funeral services will be held at Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Monday, January 30, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. A family visitation will be held at Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call the funeral home on Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cody Joe Nichols Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
