Clyda S. Gumminger Clyda S. Gumminger, age 72, a resident of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at her residence. Clyda was born the daughter of Clyde and Clara (Stanberry) Stephey on December 31, 1943, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She worked as a Sprint Relay Operator for many years. Clyda enjoyed collecting recipes, crafts, and knitting. Survivors include two sons, Gerald Gumminger of Mission, Kansas, and John Gumminger of Independence, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Cory and Hannah of Independence, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, June 25, 2016, 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, one hour prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, June 24, 2016, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
