Cloie LaVerne Mills Cloie LaVerne Mills, age 82, a resident of Ludlow, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at her residence. Cloie was born the daughter of John and Eunice (McNally) Silkwood on May 6, 1932, in Ray County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Richard Mills on September 11, 1948 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2010. She was a member of the Ludlow and Dawn Baptist Church, Ludlow, Missouri, and attended Cowboy Church in Blue Mound. Cloie enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time with friends and family. She received yard of the month for her yard art. Survivors include three sons John Mills of Ludlow, Missouri, Kenneth Mills and wife Candy of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Bob Sayers and wife Sandy of Breckenridge, Missouri; three daughters, Beverly Plaster and husband Richard "Dickie" of Braymer, Missouri, Sharon McCracken and husband Darrell of Dawn, Missouri, Kathy Linville and companion Vic Thompson of Warsaw, Missouri; two brothers, Elva Silkwood of Braymer, Missouri, and Mark Silkwood of Chillicothe, Missouri; three sisters Sue Moore of Dawn, Missouri, Ethel Reid of Braymer, Missouri, and Fern Hall of Braymer, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; thirty five great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Eunice Silkwood; husband Richard; one sister Hazel McElwee; one brother Ralph Silkwood; two sons, Larry and Dwayne Mills; and one grandson Wayne Mills. A graveside service will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri, on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plainview Cemetery and/or Three Rivers Hospice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
