Cleo W. Vaughn Cleo W. Vaughn, age 93, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away peacefully with family at his bedside on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Cleo was born July 26, 1920 as the seventh child of William W. Vaughn and Carrie F. (Hunt) Vaughn. Cleo and his wife Betty were married in 1944 and spent many years traveling with pipeline construction work prior to settling in Braymer where they spent 50 years taking care of family members, farming, and volunteering to help others. Cleo is survived by many much loved nieces and nephews from New Mexico, Arizona, Washington, Indiana, Missouri, Texas, and Colorado, as well as staff and residents of Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty (McBee) Vaughn; five sisters: Mary Vaughn, Maude Block, Annabelle Dillman, Nellie Applebury, and Jean McKinnis; two brothers: Nelson Vaughn and Junior Vaughn. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
