Clay Junior Leakey

Clay Junior Leakey, age 56, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 19, 2010. He was born son of Roy Leakey and Clara Hawkins in Kansas City, Missouri on July 24, 1954. He was a 1972 graduate from Braymer High School. Clay loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping. Clay was employed at TigerCo Implement Company as a mechanic and also worked as a farm laborer. He is survived by one son, Eric Leakey of Raymore, Missouri; 1 sister, Sylvia Fitzwater of Braymer, Missouri; and one grandchild, Porter Clay Leakey of Raymore, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers; Leonard and Rex Allen. Services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Braymer, Missouri. Friends may call between 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer. Burial of the cremains will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri.
