Claudia Jean Caldwell Claudia Jean Caldwell, age 69, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014, at her residence. Claudia was born the daughter of Claude Dean and Norma Jean (Simkins) Johnson on March 31, 1945, in St. Joseph, Missouri. She worked as a Nurse and Med Tech at Long Blum Retirement Village in Chillicothe. Claudia was a member of the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe. Survivors include two sons, Kevin Lee Mathews, of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Shane Clark Caldwell of Rockport, Missouri; one daughter Kimberly Anne Perez and husband Genaro of Ormond Beach, Florida; three sisters, Viola Maberry and husband Gary of Tina, Missouri, Lois Carranza of Springfield, Virginia, and Barbara Padilla of Vacaville, California; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step brothers, Joe Johnson and Clancey Johnson of Fremont, Nebraska; and step-mother Millie Johnson of Fremont, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Vernon Johnson and Billy Key; and one niece Christina Maberry. A Memorial service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
