Claude Dale Hensley Claude Dale Hensley, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Claude was born the son of Harry and Edna (McDaniel) Hensley on February 27, 1924, in Hale, Missouri. He was a 1941 graduate of Hale High School, Hale, Missouri. Claude served in the United States Army from 1945 until 1946 during World War II. He made his home in Chillicothe when he moved from Hale in 1961. He was united in marriage to Patricia Killian on July 29, 1961 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Claude worked on highway construction as a bulldozer operator for Clarkson Construction for 25 years. He was a member of the Vern R. Glick Post No. 25, Chillicothe, Missouri, Chillicothe Shrine Club, Chillicothe Friendship Lodge No. 89 AF and AM, Livingston County Men's Democratic Club, Local Operators Engineers 101 of Kansas City, Missouri, and a former member of the Moila Shrine Club. He was also a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include wife, Patricia Hensley; one daughter, Sheila Renee Schlarb of Trenton, Missouri; two grandchildren Blake Alan and Caroline Renee Schlarb both of Trenton, Missouri; one brother Wayne Hensley and wife Dyllis of Hale, Missouri; one sister Francis Wilson of Mission, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Ralph Hensley; and infant brother Kenneth Hensley. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, June 23, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. A Masonic service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, June 22, 2014, from 3:30 p.m. with a Visitation to follow until 6:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Sunday, June 22, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
