Clair Lucille Stodgell

Clair Lucille (Crookshanks) Stodgell Lucille Stodgell, age 91, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Baptist Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Lucille was born the daughter of Ervin and Ina (Pridemore) Crookshanks on August 4, 1923, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Stodgell on February 6, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1984. Lucille was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include three daughters, Tanya (Gary) Hamilton of Gallatin, Missouri, Pamela (Carl) Britt of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Gail (Chuck) Vadnais of Ocala, Florida; grandchildren Angie (Jeff) Conover and Brant; Doug (Staci) Hamilton and Tristan; Alisa (Jeff) Brown and Emersen; Darin (Trisha) Hamilton and Reese, Ryann, Rhenn; Brett Skinner and Cassie; Betsy Barbeck and Spencer and Lainie; Sarah Vadnais (Adam Benker) Michela and Brady; Molly (Chris) Lewis and Natalie, Kaigan, Max, Riley, Cora; Cameron Vadnais. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth Stodgell; three brothers James (Katherine) Crookshanks, Floyd (Mary) Crookshanks and Kenneth (Inez) Crookshanks; two sisters Ruth (Pete) Davis and Corinne (Ray) Empanger; and great-grandson Brendan Anthony Conover. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
