Christine "Chris" (Faubion) Dupy Christine "Chris" (Faubion) Dupy, 65, passed away on December 12, 2015, at the Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. Cremation. Chris was born January 9, 1950, in Chillicothe, Missouri, and was the younger of two daughters born to Joe and Jeri (Weaver) Faubion. They survive. Following graduation from Chillicothe High School in 1968 she moved to Chicago where she worked and met Bob Grisham. They were married in 1974. They later settled in Boise, ID and raised two sons. Following their divorce, Chris continued to live in Boise working as bookkeeper for a Home Health Company and later as an office manager for a law firm. In March of 2000, Chris was diagnosed with cancer but continued to work while receiving radiation and chemo treatments. Six months later she was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer. Again, she faced the treatments with strength and determination to beat it. Chris moved back to Chillicothe in 2007 where she reunited friendships with high school classmates, including Reed Dupy. They were married November 30, 2008. Chris and Reed were loving caregivers to her parents who lived with them. Cancer returned 15 years later as a metastatic melanoma which she accepted with faith in God the ultimate outcome. During the late evening, the Lord took her peacefully home to heaven. Chris was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband, Reed; her parents, two sons, Dan (Heather) Grisham of Boise, ID, and Kyle Grisham of Boise, ID; her sisters, Pat (Larry) Maiorano, Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren Ava and Caden Grisham, Boise, ID; niece Gina Maiorano McIntyre, Vancouver, WA; two sisters-in-law Judy Dupy, Olathe, KS; Janet (Richard) Littrell, Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins and cherished friends. A memorial service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. with a family visitation one hour prior to the service. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 8, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Utica Baptist Church and/or the Chillicothe Parks Department Walking Trail and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
