Christina Lynn Barnett Christina Lynn Barnett, age 66, a resident of Kingston, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. Christina was born the daughter of James Roy, Jr., and Forestina (Rogers) Clary on April 28, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a 1970 graduate of Center High School, Kansas City, Missouri. She received a scholarship from the Jewish Women of Kansas City, for her education. After graduation, she attended UMKC. She worked as a call back specialist for City Bank for 6 years. She also worked for GE for 10 years. Christina enjoyed participating in rainbows, art, reading, writing, and poetry. She loved fishing, and fireworks. Christina was very funny, and always fun to be around. She was a hard worker, supporting her family as a single mother. Survivors include her mother, Forestina Clary of Hamilton, Missouri; one son, Michael James Barnett and wife Kristan of Woodbridge, Virginia; two daughters, Lisa Gray and husband Robert of Kingston, Missouri, and Brooke Alexis Barnett of Hamilton, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Dixie Hale and husband Ray of Green Ridge, Missouri; and two aunts, Anne Lawrence of Denver, Colorado, and Edna Clary of Sunrise Beach, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held at the Kingston Nazarene Church, Kingston, Missouri, on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Kingston Nazarene Church, Kingston, Missouri, on Saturday, June 30, 2018, one hour prior to the service at 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, June 29, 2018, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Cottage Grove Cemetery, Cowgill, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christina Lynn Barnett Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
