Chester Neal McBee, 81, of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on May 7, 2011 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer. Chet was born on August 20, 1929 in Carroll County Missouri to Neal and Nina (Tuggle) McBee. On December 24, 1950 , in Braymer, He was united in marriage to Ima Jean Green. She survives of the home. After Marriage, Chet and Jean moved to Michigan where he worked for the E.F. Fisher Farms for three years. Upon returning to Missouri, he worked for the Missouri State Highway Department and retired after twenty six and one half years of service. Chet was an insurance agent and board member of Preferred Mutual Insurance Company for over fifty years. He was also a farmer in the Braymer area during this time. Chet was preceded in death by his parents, Father-in-law, and mother-in-law, George and Minnie Green and brother-in-law David Green. In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Curtis Timmons of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jaclyn McBee; grandson Mason Neal and granddaughter Avery, due in June, all of Braymer. Chet was a member of the Braymer United Methodist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His favorite hobbies included gardening, fishing and tinkering.
