Cheri Delores Williams, age 67, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at her residence.
Cheri was born the daughter of Ronald and Helen Delores (Chapman) Crookshanks on March 7, 1957, in Milan, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Berl Grant Williams on March 16, 1995, in Meadville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2009. Cheri and Grant owned and operated H&R Block in Milan and Unionville, Missouri. Cheri was dedicated to the care and well-being of all types of animals, and worked and volunteered at the Forest O. Triplett Animal Shelter in Chillicothe. She loved books and movies.
Survivors include her daughter, Whitney Allen of Joshua, Texas; one son, Jackson Williams of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Teri Neal and husband Steve of Meadville, Missouri. She is also survived by three stepchildren, Christopher Williams, Bradley Williams, and Ashlee Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Berl Grant Williams.
Cremation was held. No services are scheduled at this time.
