Charlotte Tripp

Charlotte R Tripp Charlotte Tripp, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Charlotte was born the daughter of Carl G. and Emma I. (Riepe) Wendland on August 14, 1930 in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She graduated from Long Beach High School, Long Beach, California, in 1947. She then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1951. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She moved to Chillicothe in 1951 from Kansas City, Missouri and was united in marriage to Howard Tripp on May 10, 1953, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1988. Charlotte was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. She loved to travel, especially to the Mountains in Colorado. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Survivors include one son Michael Tripp and wife Mary of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter Lois Mumpower and husband Bill of New Bloomfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Timothy and Andrew Mumpower, and Loren and Aaron Tripp; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Jaxon Tripp. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard; and one sister Joan Hambrick. A Private graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, July 8, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. A Scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 12 noon until 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
