Charles Lee Kissick Charles Lee Kissick, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Lee was born on December 25, 1922, in Avalon, Missouri, the son of Orrin W. and Nellie M. (Colton) Kissick. He was a 1940 graduate of Avalon High School, and a graduate of the Chillicothe Business College. He served in the United States Army during World War II from January 1943 until February 1946. After returning home from the military, he attended Northwest Missouri State College, Maryville, Missouri, graduating in 1951, with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education. He then obtained a Masters Of Arts Degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, in 1952. He taught school for several years in Iowa. After retiring from the school district, he moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where he worked as an Office Manager for an Orthopedic Specialists Group. He enjoyed his retirement years playing golf and working around his house. Lee will be greatly missed by his family, but we are thankful for many loving memories. Survivors include one brother, Donald Kissick and wife Norma of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth (Kissick) Wheelbarger; and five brothers, Harold, Earl, Ralph, Lloyd, and Howard Kissick. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
