Charles Lee Hind, age 61, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at his residence.
Charles was born the son of Russell and Myrtle (Cornwell) Hind on March 2, 1958, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Lucinda "Cindy" Denise Paden on September 8, 1978, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Charles worked as a self-employed Drywaller. He was a Ham Radio Operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, especially fly fishing, shooting, and archery. Charles was a certified gun smith and a certified lock smith. He loved his dog Sally.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Hind of the home; one daughter, Victoria James of Chillicothe, Missouri; one granddaughter, Janessa Juckette of Chillicothe, Missouri; two brothers, Danny Hind of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Wyatt Hind and wife Joyce of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Jody Greene of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Greene; and two sisters, Connie Ross and Shari Hilton.
A celebration of life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest O. Triplett Animal Shelter and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
